It's Spring Sticker Set - Review

I received the It’s Spring Sticker Set at no charge from

Tyndale House in exchange for my personal review on the product.  This is a very cute and colorful sticker
set.  It can be used as a reward for kids
at school, church or home.  These
stickers have somewhat of a glittery look without the messiness of
glitter.  These can also be used in arts
and crafts for kids.  If you are a
teacher or a caregiver for children, you will love these.   I give
this sticker set 5 stars.

The Black Earth - Book Review

Black Earth by Timothy Snyder is a book about the

Holocaust.  This is not an easy subject
to read about, however it is one we must continue to read about.  Snyder did a great job with this
subject.  I have read many books about
the Holocaust, none of them easy to read, but it is something we must do.  Snyder offers a unique view of one of history’s
biggest atrocity.
Even though the content of this book is complex, we must
take time to read so we do not repeat.
Snyder ends the book with a warning of sorts, not sure how I
feel about this part.  Overall this is a
good read if you are into history or the Holocaust.
I was given this book from Blogging for books in exchange
for my review.  I give this book 5 stars.

So Long Insecurity Journal review

I recently received the devotional journal, So Long Insecurity, from Tyndale rewards At no cost in exchange for my personal review.

This journal comes in a hard back cover that is very attractive.  It is a great companion to Beth Moore's book or bible study by the same name.  It has prompts, prayers, quotes and bible reading suggestions to help you as you tackle insecurity.  There is ample space to write your thoughts and feelings.

This journal can be used if you haven't read the book or done the bible study. This would make a great gift, especially if you know of someone that struggles with insecurity.

Book Review- "You Don't Know Me" by Susan May Warren

This is a fiction book that has a little suspense to it.  This authors style of writing is easy to read.  The author had a good story line but it was lacking the ability to grab my attention at the start of the book.  I actually found myself not wanting to read it after around the 3rd chapter just because it was a little boring.   But about 1/2 through, I wanted to find out how the book ended. I have not read many books by this author, but as for this book, I can only give it 3 out of 5 stars.  It was good after I actually go "into" it, but it was lacking something at the start.  I prefer a book with a little more "grab" at the beginning.  I was giving this book free of charge by Tyndale Rewards to give my honest opinion.

Doodletopia: Cartoons Review

I was pleasantly surprised by the Doodletopia: Cartoons book.  This would be a great item to have for a road trip, rainy days, sick days, etc.  This gives the little artist places to doodle and it also shows them the steps in drawing many cartoon characters.
I think this would be a great surprise for the child that just had surgery, is sick, for those long car rides and even when they are just in need of a little "down time" .  I think this would be great in a stocking this year at Christmas.

A Karen Kingsbury Collection

I have read many of Karen Kingsbury books in the past. I have enjoyed all of them.  This collection however was different. The first one in the series, I really didn't enjoy that much. The second book however em was better and the third was great. If you are new to Karen Kingsbury books, you won't be disappointed. Don't judge her by the first in this series, go ahead and read the other two, you will be glad you did. I was given a free copy of this title in exchange for my honest opinion of the book.
