Megan is 12!!

Megan turned 12 on Friday the 27th. We had her party at the karate studio. I made her a karate cake. She loved it! She had such a good time. The Chappell's do a great job with the birthday parties. Sydney Marie Gillstrap

Our precious little Sydney Marie arrived on Wednesday January 28th. She weighed 6lbs 5oz. She is so precious. She has strawberry blonde hair. I am not sure who she looks like, but I am sure she will be changing almost daily. Check back for new pics.

Hey everyone! Here are a few pics from Megan's Karate Graduation. She did a great job on her form.

Karate Class

Well by now you all know I have started taking Karate. And really...I like it. I am having alot of fun. On the first class I had, my "warm-up" consisted of 50 push ups and what seemed to be 10 laps around the room...and that was my "warm-up"???

I made it through the class...but I thought I was going to die!

Today I took my 6th class. The picture is of my 1st injury...LOL...I am sure there will be more to come..but I thought I would share it.

I know don't what is worse...the push ups or Megan and Ricky sitting on the side watching and laughing. I am sure, they have as much fun watching me as I do in class.

Christmas Fun!!

Megan got the zune she wanted!

We had a great Christmas. Mark, Marsha, Katie and Austin came up on Tuesday the week before Christmas. They were able to stay with us until the following Monday. They wanted to get to spend Christmas with the kids in Mobile. We had so much fun spending time with them. Katie and Austin had grown so much!

Gabe came in the Saturday before Christmas and will leave this Sunday. He is another one that has grown, straight up!

We spent time with Heather and Kyle before they left going to Tennessee. We found out that Sydney may come at the end of January instead of February...we are all excited about her arrival!

Megan got her zune! I think that was her favorite gift...well maybe the new karate uniform ranked up there in her favorites too.

Karate Kick-a-thon

This Saturday was the Kick-a-thon that Megan participated in. She did great. She finished her 1000 kicks in about 2 hours. I am posting a few pictures so those of you that gave a donation know you got your money's worth. She has raised about $350! I will post the Karate Studio total amount as soon as we know. This was for a great cause and I know the people that benefit from the food baskets will really appreciate your generosity and the kids willingness as well. Thanks again to all of you that donated.

Katie's 2nd Birthday

We had a great time in Mobile celebrating Katie's 2nd Birthday. She had a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse party. Can you guess what Papaw Greg is doing??? Hope you enjoy the pictures.
