Spending time with friends and family

We had a picnic and with family and friends a few weeks back. I am just now getting time to post the pics. We went out to the lake and had our lunch with Heather, Sydney, Joy, Eli and Aiden. After lunch and watching the geese, we headed in for Megan to give Eli an art lesson. Hope you enjoy the pics from our fun day together!

Taking the Plunge!!!

Megan decided to take the plunge and get her hair cut. I think it looks great. I wanted to post a picture to show her "new" style.

Six Flags Trip

Ricky and I took the kiddos to Six Flags last week. We had a great time but it was very hot. We rode many rollercoasters like Goliath, Superman and Georgia Schorcher to name a few. When we got to the hotel to clean up for supper, Megan realized she had left her clips to hold her hair up while she was flat ironing it. Now what's a girl to do???? Well if you have a dad like Ricky, no need to worry, he came to her rescue. Ricky is truly a trooper when it comes to helping out the girls in their time of need.

Karate Graduation

Megan graduated up to Advanced green belt in karate and green belt in Jujitsu. I graduated to orange/yellow belt in karate. Here are a few pics for you to enjoy from graduation night.


This was the highlight of the night. Megan grappling one of the upper rank boys. I must say I was very proud of my little karate girl!

Fun with the family!!

Wanted to post a few pics from our recent trip from the grandbabies. Katie & Austin came up and stayed with us for 8 days. We enjoyed it so much. I am posting a few of our wonderful memories for you to see. The only sad part was saying goodbye at the end of their stay.

Anniversary Fun!!

Ricky and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary this month. Thanks to Ricky's wonderful employer, we were sent to the Opryland Hotel. Here are a few pics from our trip. We had a great time.
