Tox-sick

I received the book Tox-Sick from Blogging for books, free of charge for my honest review.

The title intrigued me because I have fibromyalgia and I have many friends and family that have either suffer from an auto immune disease or suffer from one of the many ADD, ADHD, OCD, etc.
For some time now, I have believed many of these disorders are caused from either our diet or chemicals we are exposed to.
This book really goes into detail on how we live in toxic environments and consume toxic food.
The information in the book is overwhelming at times. I think if this book had been printed with a larger font and had given you a bigger margin, it would have been easier to read.
Regardless of that, the book has great information on how to determine if your body is toxic and what to do when you decide it is toxic.
I would recommend this book for anyone who wants to be healthier or anyone that has health issues.

Kill Devil by Mike Dellosso

Another great page turner by Dellosso. This book is packed with twists and turns. It's one of those books that you don't want to put down.

If you like a good read that keeps you on the edge of your seat and turning the pages, this book is for you. Dellosso keeps it intense enough that you don't want to put the book down.
This book doesn't disappoint. I recommend this book for teens through adults. I was given this book by Tyndale to read and give my honest opinion.

Wonderland *book review*

Wonderland is an excellent coloring book for preteen to adult. It is a coloring book and story book in one. It tells the story of Alice in Wonderland. The pictures are great and have detail in it to give you hours of fun. It also is a good way to relieve stress from your day.

The pages are thick and the markers don't bleed through easily. This is good for those that have perfection problems.

This would make a great gift for preteens or adults. I highly recommend this for those that like to color.

I was given the book free of charge for my honest review from blogging for books.

Fast Metabolism Food RX

I received the book, Fast Metabolism Food RX, free of charge from Blogging for books in exchange for my honest review.

This book goes into detail on how to heal your body by using food instead of drugs. It is very easy to understand and breaks it down so you know what to eat and when to eat it for different problems.

This book goes into detail on many issues, a few that I was interested in personally, were the chapters on autoimmune problems and the gut issues. These were discussed thoroughly.

I really liked that the author gives you the types of foods you need to eat and even lists a few recipes. The author also gives you great examples for snacks.

I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed reading this book. I plan on implementing  several things I learned from this book.

I highly recommend this book, especially if you have gut issues, female issues or autoimmune problems.

The Whole Coconut Cookbook **Book Review*

I received this book from Blogging for books free of charge in return for my honest opinion.
This is a beautiful color book.  There are many full color pictures and many many recipes to try.
With all the new "health craze" on coconut, this book is just what the doctor ordered.

There are many recipes and most of them are fairly easy.  They have step by step directions and many of them use food you will already have.

If you like to cook or know someone that does, this is a must have.
The directions are easy to follow and shouldn't require much prepare ahead of time items.

I would recommend this book to most anyone that loves to cook or that is health conscious about the food they consume.
I will give this book 4.5 stars.  Go grab one before they are all done.

The Third Target *book review*

I was given the book, The Third Target, by Tyndale house to give my personal review.

As with many of Joel Rosenberg's books, this is definitely a page turner! The story seems to be pulled straight out of the news reports today.

This book will keep you interested and in the end it leaves the possibility of writing a sequel.

If you like thrillers, you will enjoy this book. If you like books that seem to be torn from the headlines of today's news, you'll like this book.

I give the book 5 stars and highly recommend anyone that enjoys a good thriller.

Spark Joy - Book review

I have never read anything by this author, but since the book was free for my honest review, I wanted to give it a try.

This book is great to help you see what sparks joy in your life. It helps you with tidying up the things in your life. If it doesn't start joy, it goes.

It also gives you great tips on folding and stacking to keep the things neat and tidy that you love.

I recommend this book to anyone that wants to get things all tidy. When things are tidy, you are happier. A happier you is always a good thing.
